Dr TAN Kian Lee is a Malaysian. She spent her primary and secondary school education in Malaysia and then pursued her study in the United Kingdom and received her MB BCH
BAO (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Obstetrics) in 2000.

She trained and learned the craft of surgery in various surgical subspecialties in numerous teaching and tertiary hospitals in the United Kingdom. She obtained her postgraduate degrees from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2003 and The Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland in 2004.

Dr TAN also spent quite a number of years practising in various tertiary centres in Singapore and attained her postgraduate degree from the National University of Singapore in 2008.

Her other passion in aesthetic medicine, skincare and camouflage therapy for disfigurements also sparked her involvement in this field in 2006 in which she actively joined the local and international workshops, conferences and trainings.

Having spent her career abroad both in western and Eastern countries, Dr TAN strives for excellence in her technical skill performance and is always willing to use the latest techniques and equipment as well as seek new innovations. Dr TAN’s main focus is on the enhanced recovery, continued health and well-being of each individual patient. She welcomes collaboration with other medical specialists to optimize each patient’s care. She received numerous testimonials from patients she treated.

She was also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Tunku Abdul Rahman University. She participated in the establishment and syllabus planning for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Science, as well as teaching medical students and being a supervisor for master students.

Over the years of her career, Dr TAN has published a number of articles in international journals. She has also presented at many prominent local, regional and international meetings and conferences.

She attends numerous local and international conferences, surgical workshops, aesthetic medicine/regenerative workshops, cognitive impairment/dementia management as well as emergency and trauma courses. She stresses on personal professional development and providing optimal care for her patients.
